Sadhana (Sanskrit: साधन) is a Sanskrit term used to refer to a daily spiritual practice. Sadhana represents a disciplined surrendering of the ego, in which the practitioner uses tools such as asana, pranayama, meditation and chanting on a daily basis.
The Ashtanga Sadhana Experience is for those looking to immerse themselves into practice and all that this means. Join Katy for 3 days of Mysore, Chanting, Breathwork, Meditation, workshops and of course Chai & Chats.

Workshop descriptions
Making the Standing Poses Work for You:
The standing asanas are the foundations of the physical practice. No matter is you practice 1st series or 4th, the standing asanas are practiced which suggest how important they are. In this workshop we will look at these fundamental asanas and see how you can squeeze the most of of them.
Primary and intermediate Backbending connection:
Primary is full of backbending and prepares us for what is to come in the second series. In this session we will explore some of the foundation of safe backbending and apply this information to the more complex backbends that come later.
Hip Clinic:
Getting the hips to cooperate can be a challenge but it doesn't need to be impossible. With technique, time and a few homework ideas we can get the hips to open in new ways so this is where we will start.
